7. Residual value ????In a tough economy, consumers are putting a sharper pencil to car deals and looking more closely at resale values. In the latest analysis by auto research firm ALG, Toyota finished fifth among mainstream brands, while Lexus led all luxury brands. Both Ford and Lincoln were rated below average. Part of the reason is heavy fleet sales. Nearly a quarter of Ford's cars and trucks go to fleets. Only 10% of Toyota's do. |
