任仕達(dá)公司于上周二發(fā)布的一份新研究發(fā)現(xiàn):三分之一的美國(guó)工人為了隨意著裝,愿意放棄薪水中額外的5000美元。更令人驚訝的發(fā)現(xiàn)是,同樣比例的受訪者(33%)十分討厭正式著裝,以至于他們?cè)诒黄茸裱J刂b要求時(shí)會(huì)選擇辭職或拒絕入職邀請(qǐng)。

任仕達(dá)美國(guó)的非技術(shù)人員首席執(zhí)行官特拉西·菲亞特在聲明中表示:“工作的性質(zhì)——何地、何時(shí)、如何完成工作——在過去幾年里發(fā)生了翻天覆地的變化,許多變化最終導(dǎo)致了職場(chǎng)正式性的減弱。讓員工有權(quán)每天穿上自己喜歡的衣服,展現(xiàn)他們的個(gè)性很棒,但雇主制定明確的指導(dǎo),確保每個(gè)人都感到舒適同樣重要?!?/p>

調(diào)查得出的數(shù)據(jù)可能令人驚訝,不過工作環(huán)境寬松化的趨勢(shì)對(duì)企業(yè)而言并非新聞。過去幾年里,許多公司已經(jīng)放松了對(duì)著裝的要求。高盛集團(tuán)(Goldman Sachs)在2017年做出了相關(guān)調(diào)整,以提高對(duì)技術(shù)人才的吸引力。此前一年,摩根大通(J.P. Everyone would love to make more money at work, but a surprisingly high number of people would forego that cash if they could wear jeans to work on a daily basis.

A new study from Randstad released last Tuesday finds that one-third of U.S. workers would forego an extra $5,000 in salary in favor of an informal dress code. Even more surprising was the finding that the same number of people—33%— are so opposed to formal workwear that they would quit their job or turn down an offer if they were forced to follow a conservative dress code.

“The nature of work — where, when and how it gets done — has changed dramatically over the past several years, and many of those changes have ultimately contributed to a less formal workplace,” said Traci Fiatte, CEO, non-technical staffing, Randstad US, in a statement. “It’s great to empower your employees to dress for their day, as well as show their personality, but it is equally important for employers to set some clear guidelines to ensure that everyone feels comfortable.”

The survey’s figures might be surprising, but the move toward a more relaxed work environment isn’t new news to corporations. Many companies have relaxed their dress codes in the past few years. Goldman Sachs made the change in 2017 to make jobs more attractive to tech talent. The year prior, J.P. Morgan Chase said it would allow employees to wear business-casual attire on most occasions. And in 2013, Barclays started to allow casual Fridays.
